Terms and Conditions

1. This competition ‘Win the new RM Slate with ESI’ ("Competition") is operated by RM Education Plc of 183 New Mill House, Milton Park, Abingdon, OX14 4SE ("RM Education") and The South West Grid for Learning of Belvedere House, Woodwater Park, Pynes Hill, Exeter, EX2 5WS (“SWGfL”) and is subject to the conditions contained herein.
2. Competition entries are submitted online and entrants submitting the entry agree to be personally bound by the terms set out below, and entrants’ submitting on behalf of an organisation warrants that it has the authority to accept these terms on its behalf. RM reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time.
3. Entrants must be the schools in the UK who are registered with the Department for Education ("School").
4. The Competition is not open to RM Education or SWGfL employees, families or agents or anyone connected with the administration of the Competition.
5. Competition can be submitted by logging onto http://esi.swgfl.org.uk on or by 11 February 2011 ("Closing Date") and late entries will not be included in the Competition.
6. All entries shall become and remain the property of RM Education.
7. Anyone logged into http://esi.swgfl.org.uk by the Closing Date will be automatically entered into the prize draw and a winner will be selected at random to win the prize.
8. The winner will receive a RM Slate. RM Education cannot guarantee the performance of the prize and will be subject to the equipment warranty and any other terms and conditions governing such RM Slate.
9. RM Education’s decision is final with regard to the winner and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. Only those things expressly referred to in these terms and conditions are included in the prize.
11. The winner will be notified within twenty eight (28) days after the Competition Closing Date.
12. Prize must be claimed within three (3) months from the date of notification to the winner.
13. The prize will be delivered in the address provided by the entrant.
14. No personal or cash alternative is available to the prize.
15. Other than for death or personal injury, RM Education and SWGfL excludes all liability in connection with Competition and the prizes to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16. The winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity as requested by RM Education and SWGfL.
17. Events may occur that render the Competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of RM Education and SWGfL and accordingly RM Education and SWGfL may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to RM Education and SWGfL as a result thereof.
18. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
